Great Lord Wu
Born on the 15th Day of the 8th Month of the Traditional Calendar Applying for a permit to construct a Seat for our deities was extremely difficult during the Japanese Occupation era. However, Great Lord Wu played a critical role and the foundations for Gonghe Tang (Unity Hall, the predecessor of Jhen Hai Kung) was finally laid down. After Gonghe Tang had served and safeguarded for people for several decades, Great Lord Wu had to perform curative miracles in other places for many reasons, and his duties was replaced by the resident Deity Lord Xu. Lord Wu would sometimes return to the Temple for inspections and Divinatory Rites, and will be seated at one of the Seven Holy Pavilions to receive the worship for His Saintly Virtues. |
