Wind and clouds splattering rain like a sea of mist,

The spirit will be injured as calamities strike,

There are matters in life difficult to unite,

Especially those abroad and not at home.



Intepretation:

The wind clouds will bring a storm and roaring tides. Natural disasters will cause harm. There is not a moment in human life where he/she does not make a plea against the elements. Since there is no hope of healing, then there will be no need to keep searching or traveling. This poem tells the recipient that what fate has decreed one to have, one shall receive; what one is not fated to have, one shall not receive it despite every effort or plea. Like the unpredicted windstorm, fate may be a force that cannot be fought against.

If the inquirer asks for matters on partnerships, this cim foretells misfortune. The poem contains the line “matters in life difficult to unite”.
