Intepretation:

If you intend to carry out charities, then do not hesitate and perform the deeds. This is the time to bid for fame. The undertaking will definitely be appropriate and successful. Wealth and prosperity will follow you as well. This poem reveals that a person inclining towards charity will be blessed by the Gods.

For pleas of wealth, so long as the undertaking is lawful and just, fortune will follow.

For pleas of academic success, those who have worked hard will definitely pass.

For undertakings, those who have planned thoroughly will succeed.

For pleas of marital matters, act decisively for success is in sight. There was once a couple who was in love for a long time, but could not be married due to opposition from family members. Hence, they asked for a sign at Mazu’s Temple and obtained this cim. The interpretation revealed that the marriage should be “actively pursued as lovers will be united”. In the end, parents on both sides were moved by their sincerity and acquiesced to their union. Hence, the cim poem also included the line “this undertaking will definitely succeed”. Those who are confident should press ahead.
