The moon shines and the four oceans are illuminated,

The future looks bright and positions are beckoning,

The clouding fogs are retreating and troubles are over,

So one need not worry about calamities or disgrace.


Intepretation:

The saying goes that “a decade of preparation would not be known, but its glorious fruits will spread far and wide”. A bright future is like a shining moon, illuminating the four oceans. Everyone will look up to it, and their troubled past will be banished like the clouding fogs. One can look forward to a harmonious future and not worry about troubles or calamities. This is a poem illustrating success after a period of hardship. Those trying times have finally come to an end and victory now shines upon you. No one would be able to achieve current successes without past trials.

Recipients of this cim should know that heaven rewards those who have endeavored. There are no free blessings in this world.

Those pleading for academic success, so long as one is well prepared, then it would not be difficult to receive just rewards. One need not fear for the lack of position, only the possibility of incapability in performance for the task. There will be no need to rush around.

For inquiries on moving or traveling, know that it is neither favored nor calamitous, and that there are no fortunes to be made.

For pleas of wealth, know that it will be answered, but one cannot hope for great returns. Opportunities must be sought and seized.

For pleas of marital matters, know that it will be difficult and arduous, but the parents on both sides will eventually come to an agreement to bless the union of two lovers.
