11th Cim – Yiyou– of the Water Element favoring Winter – The North is blessed

The divine rooster sees dawn breaking,

For the actions of rat, ox and tiger shall tell the future,

As the clouds depart to show the moon,

Ye inquiring gents shall observe great harmony.



Intepretation:

The divine rooster crows as dawn breaks, so look for tomorrow for the results of your undertakings. As the clouds part to reveal moonlight, one will see the scenes of great harmony.

The meaning of the poem is that the night has passed and dawn is breaking. No one will ever be misfortunate for the whole life.

When luck turns, as in the line “clouds depart to show the moon”, a new scene will surface.

Recipients of this cim should know that his/her undertakings will gradually become profitable. The divine rooster (You) can be interpreted as the eighth month, with hope coming at the eighth month. While the rat, ox and tiger can be regarded as the 11th, 12th and 1st month (of the following year). Of course, similar interpretations can be made for the days.
