10th Cim – Yiwei – of the Metal Element favoring Autumn – The West is blessed

Fair flower, you bear fruit, yet half of them mere husks,

It is only unfortunate that you’ve spent half a year in vain,

Now that the sun is setting in the West,

So why should you plan for the future?

Intepretation:

You, o flower, may be fruiting, yet your fruits are few. It is a shame that you have wasted your time. The sun is setting, and it is said that “all may be well, but your sun is setting”. Why pursue in meaningless toil when you can just relax?
